Sacred Valley of the Incas, Pisac and Ollantaytambo  (full day)

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is waiting for you. On the way we will stop at Awanacancha to admire Andean camelids such as alpacas and llamas and learn from local inhabitants about traditional dyeing and knitting techniques. Later we will explore the Pisac Market with enough free time to buy handcrafts and if you feel like tasting something traditional, stop by the wood ovens for a delicious empanada or a piece of bread. We’ll then have lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, our tour continues to Ollantaytambo, a small town full of local color and inhabited since Inca times in which we will visit the main temple used as a fortress during the Inca resistance. Experience breathtaking views for amazing pictures.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas welcomes us every day. On the way we will stop at Awanacancha, a place where we will be able to see and feed Andean camelids such as llamas and alpacas, and where the locals will show us their traditional weaving and dyeing techniques. We will then reach the traditional Pisac Market, where we will have free time to tour it and by handicrafts. If you want to taste something traditional, go to the wood ovens and try the bread and empanadas. We will have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will head for Ollantaytambo, a picturesque town which has been inhabited non-stop since the Inca times, where we will visit the temple with the same name, used as a fortress during the Inca resistance and where we will be able to get collection snapshots. At the right time, we will go back to our hotel in Cusco or in the Sacred Valley.

Important: Some guests may get altitude sickness in Cusco. To prevent this, remain calm for the first few hours until you’ve adjusted to the altitude. Chewing coca leaves and drinking coca tea also helps. Prices are per person, as a group tour or private tour. Private tours require a minimum of 2 passengers and departure times are flexible.

Moray and Salt Mines of Maras Tour (full day)

Let’s tour the most remote sites in the Sacred Valley. We will start our excursion in Moray, where the view is awesome due to the colossal concentric terraces simulating a huge amphitheater. The purpose of it: to recreate 20 different types of microclimates, a measure that guaranteed the agricultural production of the empire. After that, we will go to Maras, the famous and millenary salt mines from colonial times. The contrast of the white wells and the green valley is awesome and a must for a spectacular snapshot of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will have lunch in a local restaurant before going back to Cusco.

Itinerary:
The 3 Skylodge capsules are hung in the mountain 400 meters from the ground. Each suite has the following dimensions: 7,5 meters in length by 2,60 meters in height and width. The illumination is totally ecological and each suite comes complete with four beds, a dining area and a private bathroom. Day 1: Cusco/Sacred Valley - Skylodge Adventure Suite
You'll be picked up from your Cusco or Sacred Valley hotel at 1pm and head to Pachar. After instruction with the proper equipment, you will climb on the Via Ferrata about 40 minutes to the Zipline in order to get to the Skylodge Adventure Suite at 5pm. You can do this either by a zipline hike or by climbing Via Ferrata (depending on the package you select). You'll have time to rest and be welcomed by a hot drinlk. Then, at approximately 8pm, you'll enjoy a gourmet dinner with wine. Enjoy an overnight stay surrounded by an incredible view.

Day 2: Skylodge Adventure Suite/Cusco
After breakfast, you will start to descend rappelling or ziplining to the base of the mountain (5 zip lines). Enjoy the thrills and views as you have fun on this adventure. You will then be taken back to your hotel in Cusco or Sacred Valley
