Dinner Candombe & Tango

Dinner Tango & Candombe Show at "El Milongon" (4 hours)

Experience authentic cuisine and the unique Uruguayan musical culture at this dinner and dance show. Appreciate watching the Uruguayan dancers while enjoying worldwide recognized quality wines and delicious cuisine.

One of the highlights of your evening is witnessing the exotic dance, the Candombe. This dance was developed by African slaves in Montevideo, Uruguay, and will enchant you from the very first movement. Listen to Candombe drums and watch the dancers demonstrate a tradition over 175-years-old.

Another popular dance performed at the show is the Tango, which originated in Uruguay and Argentina. Watch the Milonga (another dance originated in Uruguay and Argentina), and understand why it is influenced heavily by the Tango.

Estancia Day Trip

The historic main house, a large Spanish colonial buildings, has been appointed national monument 1997th Countless details are reminiscent of the colonial era, such as the small church, which is decorated with majolica courtyard and the representative main entrance with its wrought-iron sign. Following the visit, we go on horseback in the stunning surrounding countryside. You then may strengthen (traditional barbecue) at a typical asado, before you get the opportunity for a siesta. In the afternoon, a ride is through the beautiful countryside on the program. To conclude, there a snack, in which we enjoy together Mate tea - the ancient drink of the Gauchos and now national drink in Uruguay.
