Anakena Tour (full day)

This tour will take you to the South -East and North-East coast of the island to visit the temple Ahu Vaihu , located 10 km from Hanga Roa and composed of a stone platform where you ll find 8 well crafted Moai and 8 pukaos scattered nearby. Then go through the Ahu Akahanga , here are 4 platforms with 12 Moai , 8 pukaos and into this Ahu can appreciate one of the best preserved villages of the island. 

Following the cruise, arrive at Ahu Tongariki amazing , with its 15 moai is the largest Ahu on the island . After we find the large spherical stone is identified as the navel of the world , or as it is called by the Rapa Nui , Te Pito o Te Henua .

Then you will arrive at Ahu Nau Nau Anakena beach , where you will meet with five moai with their Pukao . The tour continues to the volcano Rano Raraku quarry and , where they were carved most of the moai on the island. It can be seen around 400 moais multistage milling .

Finally, head to the beautiful beach of Anakena , it is the name of a small cave in an adjacent creek.

Orongo Tour (half day)

During this tour we climb the extinct volcano, Rano Kau, where we are presented with a view to the whole island with its coasts and volcanoes and the town of Hanga Roa.

The second viewpoint let us appreciate the visit of the Rano Kau crater with its lagoon and then we come to the ORONGO ceremonial village where the ceremony and the Birdman competition was made - Tangata Manu.

Then we visit the Ahu Vinapu with its architecture reminiscent of the construction of pre-Inca peoples. At the end of this tour we visit the Ana Kai Tangata cave where you can see cave paintings.

Ahu Akivi Tour (half day)

This circuit consists of a visit to the ceremonial site TAHAI with 3 platforms, the AHU, with its restored statues. The site also is the only Moai with eyes. Also we can see remains of a boat house, a house of stone and a jetty built entirely with stones.

Then we continue with our visit to Ahu Akivi, platform 7 Moais restored. According to legend these statues represent the first seven explorers who arrived in Rapa Nui, sent by King Hotu Matua.

Later visit the Puna Pau quarry where PUKAO were carved or "touched" by the Moai.

Trekking Terevaka (5 hours)

We climbed from Vaitea and down to Hanga Roa. After a total of 1.5 hours of climbing we reach our destination where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the whole island. The surface of the summit Terevaka is covered by grasslands. The landscape is completed by several small craters that adorn the top. The highest point of the island is marked by an interesting rock formation.

The trek to Terevaka, the highest in the view will leave you breathless. The Terevaka is one of three volcanic cones having Easter Island near Rano Raraku (the factory of moais) and Rano Kau (where is the ceremonial village of Orongo). Almost in the center of the island is the highest point of this, with 500 meters of altitude.

The Terevaka, visible from almost any point, is one of the most interesting for trekking or visiting on horseback (high season) as motor vehicles, fortunately, they can not reach the top places.

Tongariki Dawn Tour (3 hours)

Departure very early to see the sunrise in the Platform Tonagariki. Located in Hanga Nui, on the southeast coast of Easter Island and just 2 kilometers from the quarry of Rano Raraku, Ahu Tongariki is the most majestic of the whole island ceremonial platform.

Diving Experience Easter Island

Initiations or " baptisms " are assisted by instructors dives where the diver does not need to have any diving experience . This includes , in its first stage, a lecture that lasts about 25 minutes where the instructor shows the scuba equipment to students and explain its operation; teach them how to communicate underwater, how to move, how to unzip the ears , removing water from the mask , etc. , so that after entering the water , collectively know solve any type of accident occurs.

Then you will be assigned an instructor for each student , which will accompany all the way driving buoyancy, orientation , depth and travel time, depending on the skills of the student and outside the PADI rules establishing , for example the maximum depth of 12 meters for this type of dive .

Revenues in Rapanui sea dive site dependent , in the bay of Hanga Roa is located where the dive center Mike Rapu , the outputs are in boats , lasting no longer than 3 minutes. In Anakena , went from a spring, and Ovahe we we entered the beach. The spot is chosen by taking into account the guidelines climatic conditions and characteristics of the dive group . The dives last about 30 minutes and are performed at the level of the coral reef , where marine life unfolds , so students can interact safely for themselves and for the environment with flora and fauna.

This activity can be complemented by services that offer underwater photography center guides who give a CD with about 50 photos of the experience.

Consider that the student is healthy and is in optimal conditions for diving. For this, before starting the course must sign a statement of understanding establishing the general standards and procedures of recreational diving which includes a medical questionnaire where some of the causes of not being able to perform the dive could be due , for example, be cold or allergies, pregnant, with asthma, fainting stories , etc.
