Villarrica & Pucón information
Located at the borders of the Villarrica lake (17,300 has. of surface), having at the back the majestic silhouette of the Villarrica volcano. One of the most important tourist poles of Chile than attracts visitors in the summer and sportsmen who love white sports in the winter. In this sector, condominiums, luxury hotels, great summer mansions, good restaurants, outdoors cafes and the casino occupy first place. The lake invites to the practice of nautical sports and professional teams offer descents by the Trancura river, (14 km crossing rapids, some of them level 3 and 4).
Visit the Volcanic Caves through a lava tunnel created more than 2 million years ago, equipped with footpaths and illuminated up to 650 M, or the thermal spas of the Huife, located in the middle of a native forest with its three outdoors swimming pools at 20, 30 and 40 degrees of temperature. Long walks by valleys to arrive at beautiful and tempered native forests with their particular birds, typical of the South end of South America, are another attraction of this zone of Chile.
Access
Daily flights from Santiago to Temuco (55 min.) and land transport to Villarrica (87 km) or Pucón (112 km). During the summer season direct occasional flights exist from Santiago to Pucón (1h: 30min). Land transport from the airport to the city of Pucón (4 km) or Villarrica (31 km).
Geometricas Hot Spring Tour (Pucon)
We leave Pucón to Lican Ray Resort, going around the Calafquén Lake into the Coñaripe town and then take the road that leads us to The Villarrica National Park in the China area.

Ojos del Caburgua & Caburgua Lake Tour (Pucon)
Leaving the hotel and 25 km from the City of Pucón lies the town of Caburgua. We head for Caburgua area from Pucón and visit "Ojos del Caburgua" which are two springs giving form to a wonderful cup of water and a lagoon called blue lagoon because of its color.
Then we head for Caburgua lake formed thousands years ago by the glaciations and it´s surrouded by numerous volcanoes. In the klm.25 we will appreciate the first waterfall, Palguìn fall at a height of 70 mts.
Later we will get the second waterfall ,La china Fall at a height of 75 mts. Its permanent fall makes itself the highest one in the area. Lastly we will reach the last waterfall which has a special form becoming the most attractive at a height of 70 mts.

Conguillio National Park Tour (Pucon)
Has 60,832 hectares in Region IX, altitudes of 900-3125 m was created in 1950. Inside is the Sierra Nevada and Llaima volcano, including the two main valleys are generated; The Captrén river to Curacautín, and the Quetralelfú river to Melipeuco. Within these valleys were formed by lava plugs eruptions of the Llaima, Lake Conguillío and Captrén, Arco Iris and Verde lagoons. The newly formed lakes are among 100 and 600 years of data- as evidenced by the forests that were flooded by rising water levels.
The landscape is virtually untouched, with Araucaria forests of 600-1200 year-old oaks, raulíes, coigües and cypress distributed among waterfalls, slag and lava eruptions of the past.
After entering a slag covering the valley, flanked on the right by the volcano and the left, where the pine forest begins abound. At Km. 34 is the internal path in the woods, where the control booth that provides general information about the National Park is. In the vicinity is the Captrén (15-hectare) lake. It has a campground, on the south shore, and hiking trails.
The path continues through the Lake Conguillío (750 hectares), which is reached at Km. 40, which is also the Administration and the Environmental Information Center, an exhibition describing the flora and geology of the park. On this site there are cabins and camping with cafeteria, supplies and boats to rent. The ranger guide and guided tours of different paths, scheduled for adults and children.

Rafting Rio Trancura Alto (Pucon)

Horseback Riding Mapuche (Pucon)
It is done in the field of Quelhue, the heart of the Mapuche reserve with a beautiful view of Lake Villarrica and the volcano of the same name.
It is not necessary to have previous experience as an instruction is performed before starting. On sunny days amounts to a lookout in the Quelhue hill, while rainy days, for greater security, they go to the river Plata.
The ride lasts about an hour and thirty minutes, which ends in Ruka with a pleasant tasting where you can share with the Mapuche family, learn about their traditions, customs and also Mapuches wear costumes (optional) to take pictures.

City Tour Puerto Montt & Puerto Varas
Located 1,016 km to the south of Santiago, with a beautiful view to the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes, the city is located in an ample amphitheater in the North end of the sine of Reloncaví. Its port, in the west sector, is protected by the Tenglo island. In 1852 the first German settlers arrived by sea, today the work made to transform impenetrable forests and swamps into productive land can be appreciated. From 1985, a new activity generated a strong economic and demographic development, the culture of the salmon. Today there are more than 30 breeding grounds, in addition to annexed industries of refrigeration, feeding, transport and services. Puerto Montt is in addition the connection center between continental Chile and the austral end with its multiple islands. From its wharf tourist circuits leave for the islands of the Sine of Reloncaví, the archipelago of Chiloé, Aisén, San Rafael Lagoon and the austral Patagonia.
Only 20 km from Puerto Montt, nailed in the shore of the Llanquihue lake, the third greatest natural lake of South America. In its waters is reflected the perfect cone of the Osorno volcano and the tops of the Puntiaguado, Calbuco and Tronador volcanoes. In its west shore are the tourist town of Puerto Octay, Frutillar and Llanquihue.
The city of Puerto Varas, also known as “the city of the roses”, formed from the arrival of German settlers who were based in the shore of the Llanquihue lake in the middle of the XIX century. The great growth of Puerto Montt (20 km double sided highway), has transformed this city-resort into a residential place which has enriched the urban life. Today Puerto Varas has an excellent hotel infrastructure, an important gastronomical activity with creative menus based on regional products and from the sea, cultural events, craftsmanship samples of pottery, wood, leather with carvings, colorful weaves and looms, in addition to being the departure point for fascinating tourist circuits in the surroundings of a dramatic geography that has turned the Region of the Lakes into the capital of tourism.

Frutillar & Puerto Octay Tour (Puerto Montt / Puerto Varas)
We start our trip to Frutillar, first visiting the city of Llanquihue, famous for their sausages, and it is where Maullin River begins, and this area is part of the ancient Route of Settlers. In the city we visit the Memorial to the German Colonists, and then we will continue along the Llanquihue Lake to the Frutillar city.
This city is a beautiful village that recalls the old Bavaria, from there were the first settlers who arrived to this area. The city started in 1856 as a boarding pier, soon appeared tanneries, mills, breweries, etc. We will walk around its beautiful old houses of German style, admiring the gardens and incomparable views of the volcanoes Osorno and Puntiagudo.
We will visit the German Colonial Museum which portrays the life of the settlers, and at the lake shore observe the Teatro del Lago (Lake Theatre) here each year is presented the famous Frutillar Musical Week, this is a Summer Festival, presents classic music from Chile and abroad that offer each year, approximately 40 concerts.
From here we go to Puerto Octay, also located by the north shore of the lake, with a strong German influence it was the most important gateway to the agricultural products to Osorno city. We will see the ancient streets, the Main Square and the viewing point.

Osorno Volcano Tour (Pto Montt / Pto Varas)
We begin our tour from Puerto Varas The City of the Roses going to Osorno Volcano, by the shore of Llanquihue lake well enjoy the Amazing landscape with the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes, until we get to Ensenada where we start to ascend to the Osorno Centro de Ski y Montaña, located at 1.240 meters (3937 feet).
There we will stay about an hour, will be time for sightseeing, take pictures, and appreciate a unique view to the summit of the volcano with glaciers of eternal snow, the Calbuco, Lake Llanquihue Lake and the Pacific Ocean.
As an option passenger can take a cup of coffee or sandwich at the coffee shop of the place or take the lift to ascend to 1450 meters altitude in the Station Primavera (Spring) or 1750 meters at Station Glaciar (Glacier) where there is a wonderful and breathtaking views of Lake Llanquihue. Island Chiloé, Ancud Tour (Pto Montt / Pto Varas)
We arrive at Pargua Community to board one of the ferries that every day carry people and vehicles from Pargua and Chacao, after sailing for about 30 minutes on the pacific ocean waters through Chacao Channel, we´ll be arriving at Chacao village where a typical square is on of the attractions among others. Nice and picturesque constructions stand out , we will visit the wooden church in addition to the more than 150 churches existing in Chiloè. Most of them are declared National Monuments.
Next stop is the City of Ancud, we´ll enjoy a spectacular view from the Huaihuen Hill lookout.Visit to Arena Gruesa (thick sand) beach, San Antonio fortress, which is an old Spanish fortress dating back to 18th century, visit to the Interactive and handicraft museum of Ancud, Municipal Market, downtown and Costanera avenue (promenade).
