Wine Route Valley Curicó Tour
The Valley of Curicó is to the south of Santiago, being Curicó its most important city, rich in history and places of important tourist attraction, like the Vichuquén Lake, its old churches and Condell Hill.
This city is one of the most important and traditional vine-growing centers of Chile and this region is considered one of the most beautiful rustic zones of the Country.
Among the vineyards that are visited, San Pedro Vineyard, Miguel Torres and La Fortuna stand out, this last one is also know for its organic wine production.
The stocks with the greatest reputation in this valley are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz and Carmenère, being the latter one of the most desired in the international market because it was considered extinguished for many years.
In this Wine Road, the elaboration processes, beautiful cellars, vinification and tasting of the best selections can be known It is important to mention that in this zone are the most modern processes of production of South America.
