Estancia Alta Gracia Tour (half day)
Discover the history and culture of the Jesuit Estancia Alta Gracia, declared a UNESCO World Cultural and Heritage site as one of the five main ranches preserved in the history of the Jesuit Order in Argentina that has left an important legacy in the country.
We leave Córdoba on RP 5 and pass by the monument of Miryam Stefford, in direction of Alta Gracia, where we learn to know the most important testimonies of its rich cultural patrimony: “el tajamar”, an ancient artificial lake constructed by the jesuits, the Estancia Jesuítica de Alta Gracia (Museo Histórico Casa del Virrey Liniers), the church “Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Merced”, the house where Ernesto “Che” Guevara spent his childhood, the museum of of the celebrated musical composer Manuel de Falla and the cave “Gruta de la Virgen de Lourdes”. Afterwards we embark on the return to Córdoba.
