Villa Pehuenia Tour
Villa Pehuenia Tour (full day)
This town is lying on the shores of Lake Aluminé and framed by a forest of Araucaria (pehuen in the Mapuche language). It is located 250 km from our city, and along the way also know Aluminé, bordering the homonymous river for almost 100 miles of our journey.
We enter in the path that leads to called Circuit Pehuenia, Wooded path linking the Pulmarí, Ñorquinco, Aluminé Moquehue and lakes. Climb the vehicle to the edge of the crater of the volcano Bats Mahuida, almost 2000 meters above sea level, to see the landscape from above and to be able to walk to the lagoon in height. Getting off the volcano we go to La Angostura, which is a short river linking Moquehue Aluminé and Lagos.
Already in Villa Pehuenia we will tour its numerous peninsulas and bays, to see unique landscapes. This incipient Villa founded in the early 90s is surprisingly delicate level constructs in total harmony with its landscape, which has the distinction of offering a pure Araucaria forest.
