Puerto Blest Boat Trip (half day)
This boat trip to "Puerto Blest" across Lake Nahuel Huapi is the perfect excursion to get to know the stunning Patagonian lakeside landscapes. The day tour will give you the chance to explore the exuberant vegetation and indulge in the peaceful atmosphere of the Valdivian Rainforests (also known as Andean Patagonia Jungle) only 2kms from the border with Chile.
The Puerto Blest day tour will set off from Puerto Pañuelo, located 25km from Bariloche in the Llao Llao Peninsula. From there, you will travel by catamaran across the Blest branch of Lake Nahuel Huapi - a vast fjord with stunning waterfalls. There you will get a chance to sight-see spectacular Patagonian and Andean mountain scenery, including the Isla Centinela and River Frias in Puerto Frias, famous for its green water originating from the glaciers of Tronador Mountain. You will also visit Los Cantaros waterfalls, where you will be able to climb a wooden staircase and at approximately 600 meters, take in the spectacular views of the different falls and the astonishing landscape, and many more natural landmarks of the Nahuel Huapi Lake.
